The Baha'i Community of Los Angeles is administered by the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Los Angeles, a nine-person council democratically elected annually by adult Baha'is living within the city limits of Los Angeles.

The Spiritual Assembly serves as the official contact for the Baha'i Community, and can be reached through its Secretariat.

    Annual Elections
    • Organizes and administers the annual election of the nine members of the Spiritual Assembly of Los Angeles.
    • Ensures that the election takes place in a spiritual environment, and that it follows Baha'i election procedures.
    • Helps increase voter participation.
    Unit Conventions
    • Organizes and administers the annual election of delegates to represent the Baha'i Community of Los Angeles at the United States National Convention.
    • Provides an opportunity for community members to consult on local and regional matters.
